One to one sessions are ideal for those who need time and space to explore complete or sensitive issues. It's also helpful for those who may struggle in a group. The therapist is flexible in working with feelings, thoughts and behaviours that arise. Individual sessions are tailored specifically for the individual needs.

Below are some of the areas I work with:

  • Adults, Children, and Adolescents

  • Fostering & Adoption

  • Grief

  • Intergenerational Trauma

  • Individuals and Couples

  • Relationship Issues

  • Stress and trauma

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Addiction

"I attended a series of sessions with Ann-marie to support me personally and also within my role in my workplace. Ann-marie pushed me out of my comfort zone to enable me to develop a greater sense of who I am. This is an experience I will be forever thankful for due to Ann-marie’s supportive and calm nature and how she tailored each session to my needs allowing me to establish myself better in my work place and also feel more secure and confident in who I am."

Group sessions are specifically tailored for the arising themes of the group, working towards the same aim. It is a safe space where each persons voice is encouraged to participate and grow. Participants also feel supported by each other.

Specialist area: Intergenerational Trauma

STAFF

I also provide a service that is available for all members of staff, using the one to one or group format. These sessions facilitate personal growth and promote mental health.

"Sudbury Primary School has been working with Ann-marie for a number of years and the impact that she has had on the lives of the children who she works with has been invaluable. The children enjoy going to Drama Therapy sessions and feel they are in a safe place to discuss their emotions and feelings. These sessions have greatly benefited the children not only in their emotional well-being but also in their school life, they are able to focus in their lessons and make good progress in their learning. This is a valuable resource that all schools should have."
